The receptionist will be the front desk presence of POSE Studios. The role includes the following duties:
• Collect payments before each class and ensure that clients have paid for attended sessions
• With Location Manager, open and close the studio
• Assist in maintaining a clean physical space with a comfortable temperature setting
• Assist clients with signing in for classes and take payments
• Play uplifting/peaceful music to create a welcoming/calm vibe
• Give tours to new clients and educate them about our services
• Highlight the Yoga schedule for new clients and advise about appropriate classes
• Monitor instructor sign-ins
• Remind Yoga instructors to make event announcements and studio retail specials/sales
• Make sure the AC is off when classes are not in session and when closing for the night
The Systems and Outreach Manager will oversee and be responsible for social media management, maintenance of website & communication software and provide further information systems, communications & marketing support for the firm, including:
• Maintaining MINDBODY point-of-sale software and updating site with MINDBODY software widgets
• Training POSE staff concerning MINDBODY software
• Maintaining POSE website
• Creating marketing and promotional communications with clients via SMS, email ad proprietary messenger platform
• Assistance with event planning and production for public yoga events
• Point of contact at POSE for marketing campaigns, prints and publishing
• Maintaining marketing campaigns and presence on social media platforms
• Creating marketing campaigns and maintaining presence on social media
• Creating Canva templates and social media platform postings and management
• Google IT Support Professional certification a plus (but not a must) NB: candidate will be permitted to work substantial hours from home
The Location Manager will be responsible for all operations, employee oversight and financial management at their designated POSE location, including:
• Scheduling/oversight of employees and contractors
• Maintaining a constant staff presence during business hours
• Monitoring yoga class capacities
• Ensuring payment by clients enjoying POSE services
• Shared responsibility for recruitment of employees and contractors
• Customer payments, purchases, and all other financial transactions at location
• Scheduling of classes & clients
• Management of location inventories
• Resolution of customer issues
• Facilities management
• Entry of general ledger transactions
• 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training certification a plus (but not a must) *
• Must teach at least 6 classes weekly (in any combination on the schedule) *
The Yoga Instructor will facilitate one-hour long classes, teaching Vinyasa style yoga. Instructors must follow a weekly consistent schedule on location at POSE Studios, including:
• Instructor must be skilled and versed at Instructing yoga classes on a professional level
• Instructor must prepare a 55-minute planned yoga sequence ready for each class that represents a natural fluidity and steady flow (with Sun Salutation A included)
• Instructor must have a completed and seamless playlist prepared that offers music appropriate for the class timeframes and duration
• Instructor may be required to teach 2-3 back-to-back classes
• Must sweep studio floor post class for sanitation and sort class mats used by students
• Must contribute to laundry duty and assist in tidying up restrooms and reception area
• Help with checking in clients to assure that clients have paid for attended sessions
• 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training certification (you do not have to be a Yoga Alliance member) *
Blow dry hairstylists will facilitate the wash and styling of hair for POSE salon clients.
• Must have a current and valid Texas Cosmetologist License
• Welcoming customers and ensuring that they’re comfortable
• Advising clients on suitable stylings and treatments
• Recommending suitable hair products
• Washing, conditioning, and styling the hair
• Staying up to date with the latest trends, hairstyles, and products
• Cleaning workstations and sanitizing equipment throughout the day
• Working with a variety of equipment, implements and tools such as blow dryers, hair curling irons and flatirons, round brushes, combs, and brushes
• Meeting with inventory suppliers and ordering new stock as needed
• Maintaining an adequate inventory of hair products and tools
• Assisting Location Manager with entries of general ledger transactions
• Following all State Board/Texas Department of Licensing Regulations guidelines
